Please be advised of the following communication from the Board of Court Reporting and see attached the relevant proposed policy. We have 45 days to weigh in on this proposal, and you are invited to do so at the link at the conclusion of the message from the Board.

On January 10, 2018, the Court Reporter Matters Committee voted to approve the Judicial Council Policies and Fees for Court Reporting in Civil Cases. This approved draft was presented to the Judicial Council at their meeting on April 27 in Athens, Georgia.

Following this presentation to the Judicial Council, there will be a public commentary period of forty-five (45) days starting on May 1 and ending on June 14, 2018. During this period, the Administrative Office of the Courts has been instructed to record and compile all comments made by stakeholders, and the public and present these comments to the Court Reporter Matters Committee at their next meeting in July.

All persons wanting to comment are asked to do so below. Any persons who want to comment via telephone or e-mail will be asked to input their comments through this website. Making your comments on the website will ensure that AOC staff can properly record all comments and present a proper report to the Court Reporter Matters Committee.
